- Confirmation of the booking will be made on receipt of 50% of the total fee and a completed booking form. The balance must be paid on arrival at the party, or may be paid before. Cash or cheques with a cheque card are acceptable.
- Full refunds of deposits will be made or an alternative date agreed if you decide the weather is unsuitable or if we have to cancel ( only applicable in rare cases of pony health or transportation problems ). Cancellations must be made before 9 a.m. on the day of the party or at least 3 hours before the party, whichever is the earlier.
- Permission must be gained for use of any public areas, for example village hall grounds or playing fields. Details to be provided to us.
- We have public liability insurance to £2 million and this dictates some of our conditions.
- To ride children must be over 2 years old. Children over 8 years may ride at our discretion, depending on size and weight.
- Whilst our ponies are small and do not wear shoes ( metal shoes are most likely to cut up grass ) we cannot guarantee that no damage will occur in some circumstances . It is your decision to go ahead with a party in wet conditions and we cannot be held responsible for any resulting damage. Juliet will advise.
- Children must wear a riding hat and strong soled shoes with a heel to ride. Due to our insurance any child without strong heeled shoes will not be able to ride. School shoes are generally suitable and Juliet will advise.
- We reserve the right to leave a party if the ponies are being upset or maltreated. Ponies are easily disturbed and so distractions must be avoided. For example ponies cannot be in the immediate vicinity of a bouncy castle or trampoline . Dogs must be kept inside or on leads when the ponies are in your garden.
- Our ponies’ welfare is of the utmost importance to us and we expect all children ( and adults ) to take advice from us on handling and behaviour around the ponies.
- The ponies must not be fed anything at all during a party.
